Vehicle driven erractictly mounts pavement

Two men have been charged following a road traffic incident in Dundee on Thursday.

The incident happened in the Nethergate area at about 6.50pm on Thursday 30th March.

Pedestrians were forced to take evasive action to avoid being hit when a blue Ford Focus was driven erratically and mounted the pavement before making off.

A short time later the same vehicle was involved in a road traffic collision on Black Street and latterly Duncarse Road where two males were arrested.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “A man aged 35 and a boy aged 16 have been charged in connection with road traffic offences in various streets in Dundee yesterday. They are expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court today (Friday, March 31).”
