Shocking footage shows a drugged driver being rammed off the road by police during a high-speed chase across Leeds city centre.
Robert Williams was high on cannabis when he drove at speeds of up to and more than 100mph to avoid cops.
The Footage released by the Crown Prosecution Service shows the 29-year-old driving through a red light, driving on the wrong side of the road, overtaking vehicles and forcing a pedestrian to get out of the way before driving the wrong way around a roundabout.
Williams sped off in his VW Golf after officers signaled for him to pull over.
He also drove at 90mph in a 40mph zone during the three mile pursuit which lasted for just four minutes on October 17th last year.
A police car was driven deliberately into Williams vehicle after he had left the M621 and attempted to drive onto the A64. His car spun around before it came to a stop and he was arrested. He was found in possession of cannabis and test later showed he had traces of the drug in his system above the legal limit.
Williams already serving six years for conspiracy to supply cocaine and money laundering was sentenced him to a further 12 months imprisonment. Judge Simon Phillips QC also disqualified him from driving for two years after his release from prison and he will be required to take an extended driving test.
