First Look at Lothian Buses fully electric double ADL Enviro 400

Lothian Buses have received delivery of their first fully electric double decker from Alexander Dennis and funded by Scottish Power.

This delivery is believed to be the first of four on order and is currently hidden at the firms Central depot.

This Enviro400EV is a zero emission, double decker bus using the proven combination of BYD (Build Your Dreams) electric technology and batteries with stylish bodywork and passenger-centric interior by ADL.

ADL also delivered new diesel buses to Lothian built on the B5TL Volvo chassis a couple of weeks again and they have been used on services 44,25, and some on 34,35.
