A HILLARIOUS VIDEO shows a Scottish mother breaking the news to her daughter that following additional lockdown measures children will now be sleeping in school on blow up beds.
Lorna Finn who works as a Constituency Office Manager, came up with the prank after Scotland’s First Minister announcement on Tuesday and managed to keep a straight face until Grace took the bait.
This is the latest instalment in a ‘prank war’ that has been ongoing between them both for months and has been viewed over 20,000 times.
As the clip begins she says: “Grace, listen, don’t go mad, right Nicola made an announcement last night about lockdown.
“So, I’ve had to pack a bag for you, the main aim is to keep you in school as much as possible – so we are looking at a boarding school type situation.”
“What, shut up woman no we’re no.” responded 10-year-old Grace.
Lorna continues: “Listen, let me finish, you are staying at school and we are going to get to see you once a week.
“Your classroom will be converted and they’ve got blow up beds for you – it is only for the next two weeks.
“That’s what’s happening, you’re staying in school Glasgow is in lockdown.”
A concerned Grace responds: “That’s not enough time to see you, I’m no sleeping on a bloody blow up bed, I’m no sleeping in school.
“So you’re gonna let someone take your daughter like that away from you?”
Lorna is then unable to keep a straight face any longer and starts giggling as the clip ends.
The latest prank brings the standings to 3-3 with everything to play for.
Speaking today Lorna, 37, explained how it all began: “Grace was a wee bit annoyed that I started to get more followers than her on TikTok after a few videos I did went a bit viral.
“When I say she was annoyed, she was raging, she pranked me twice filmed them and put them on her TikTok.
“That was a declaration of war so I pranked her back and it has been back and forth since then.
“She was in the lead until this morning we are now in a tiebreak situation.”
Previous pranks from Grace have included telling her mum she got in trouble at school, for poking another pupil in the eye with a pencil.
Another that she was involved in a fight – fortunately she came clean before Lorna’s blood pressure went to high.
Lorna’s bio reads: “Scottish Mammy working in politics so of course TikTok is a good idea.”
The mother and daughter duo are essentially TikTok famous, between them they have a following of 86,000 and their videos have been liked over 2,000,000 times.
