Hilarious footage of a foul-mouthed rant by a motorist at ‘slow’ cyclist shows him back in front moments later as he recklessly cycles through a red light.
The dash cam clip was recorded prior to lock down on March 22nd in Llanelli, South Wales.
As the video begins traffic is moving slowly on Sandy Road and as a cyclist joins the road driver Owain Morgans directs a tirade at the man – despite claiming to be a relatively keen cyclist himself.
He says: “Where is this fat c*** going on? What do you f****** doing? Why don’t you just go down the pavement like?
“I cycle on the pavement, you should keep your wits about you.
“If there is terraced houses and no front gardens OK, if you want to make progress yeah go on the road.”
After a brief discussion with his wife about an Ed Sheeran lookalike he spotted, they have now driven past a mini roundabout but are still stuck behind the cyclist – even a learner driver is now far in the distance.
“Don’t go on the road unless you can keep up with the flow of traffic” suggests Owain, 40.
He shouts: “He’s not even pedaling” His wife tells him to ‘stop’ but he claims that it is all an act for the benefit of the dash cam.
There is a gap in oncoming traffic and he is finally able to overtake the cyclist.
“I’m gonna pass him, I’m gonna pass him” he says in excitement as he makes the sound of a racing car.
Just two seconds later the traffic lights up ahead changed to red. “Aaargh, f****** red light!”
Then moments later the cyclist comes back in view as he cycles through the red light as an oncoming driver flashes his light in disgust.
Blood now at boiling point, he shouts: “And he runs a red light! Fat c***”
Sharing the footage on Facebook group ‘Bad drivers caught on dash cam’ mechanic Owain simply wrote: “If you don’t like swearing I’d suggest you don’t watch”.
