HITMEN almost crash into cyclist whilst pursuing man after allegedly running over and assaulting another victim in a quiet residential complex.

Emergency services rushed to Charlotte Gardens in Aberdeen on Thursday (07/10/2021) afternoon at 12.55pm.

Footage shows a white Renault Kangoo van being driven erratically towards another man who appears to be carrying a metal pole – narrowly avoiding collision with a cyclist who had to take evasive action.

The male passenger wearing a black jacket jumps out the van and marches towards a second man wearing blue jeans, black jacket and baseball cap.

A brief argument follows with one man shouting: “F***king c**t, come on then, come on then.”

The other speaking in an Irish accent is inaudible.

Aerial footage partially shows the altercation and the thug disappearing out of view.

Passers-by are attracted to the disturbance off camera and minutes later the men have left the scene as multiple police cars and an ambulance arrive with blues and twos.

It’s understood police were unable to find the injured man on arrival, and attempts to trace the driver and assailant are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.55 pm this afternoon, Thursday, 7 October, 2021, a report was made to police that a man had been struck by a van in Charlotte Gardens, Aberdeen, and then assaulted by the occupants of the vehicle.

“There was no trace on police arrival, however, enquiries into the incident are continuing.”
