Shocking footage shows a woman that appears to be applying make-up whilst driving her car past a West Lothian primary school.
A dash cam has recorded the moment a female driver of a white Volkswagen is allegedly applying make-up.
The incident happened outside Kirknewton Primary School on Station Road around 8:30am on Wednesday morning.
Gideon Riddell said: “She was definitely doing her eyelashes as I passed her!
“I really can’t believe she was doing it whilst driving, especially going past a primary school.”

James McLoughlin, spokesperson for Brake, the road safety charity, said: “Driving is the most complicated and risky thing most of us do on a regular basis, so it is vital we give it our full and undivided attention; we can’t afford to treat our cars as an extension of our bathroom.
“Performing secondary tasks at the wheel often means taking your eyes, hands and mind off the road and dramatically increases your chances of crashing and killing or seriously injuring someone.
“Drivers need to take regular breaks and make time away from their vehicles to perform other tasks. We are also appealing to government to increase fines for distraction and careless driving offences, to stop risky multi-tasking drivers.”
