A serial graffiti vandal has been caught on camera as he began a tagging spree of private property including garages, vehicles, and houses in South London.
In less than three minutes a garage, vehicle and two walls were tagged with the word “AHEM.” before he disappears on Greyhound Lane.
Later that morning the same tags were discovered on multiple walls and a telephone junction box on Edgington Road.
The most shocking and devastating of all was two tags on the front wall of a family’s house on Eardley Road.
Sarah T. posted images on neighbourhood app Nextdoor and wrote: “Seems like Mr Ahem is tagging half of Furzedown and causing damage.

“If you have been affected, please upload images to the Wandsworth Clean Streets app and report to the Police via the Wandsworth website so they can build a case against him for damages.”
One user commented: “Wow watch out Banksy … pointless scribbles, hope they find them and put them on clean up duty.”
Another said: “I noticed this when I was walking home it’s a mess!”
A third wrote: “Trouble is, if your house was painted even a year ago it will never match painting over it, so they’ll have to repaint their whole house.”
A fourth added: “Mr Ahem needs to get a life.”
Speaking today Sarah said: “It was so depressing to come out of our house to see this all over it.
“I reported to the Police, so they have a record of it, however it seems the case is now closed.”
Sarah received the following response from officers: “We are sorry to hear that you have been a victim of crime.
“An investigator from the Metropolitan Police has looked carefully at your case and we are sorry to say that with the evidence and leads available it is unlikely that we will be able to identify those responsible.
“We have therefore closed this case.”
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: “On Sunday, 10 December police received an allegation of criminal damage following several reports of graffiti being sprayed onto property in Streatham.”
